About the role#
Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc. is hiring for a Summer Engineering Sales Intern position. This role focuses on the intersection of technical knowledge and business strategy. You will work within an employee-owned company that supplies commercial HVAC equipment and control systems. This internship is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Maximize equipment sales by applying technical knowledge and sales strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities to meet sales goals.
- Propose changes to equipment, processes, or materials to help clients reduce capital expenditures and improve operations.
- Educate clients on product specifications, pricing, and overall offerings.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Strong preference for candidates with prior co-op or internship experience in these fields.
- Preference for candidates who are active in student organizations or extracurricular activities.

- Locations: Richmond, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; or Roanoke, VA.
- Work modality: On-site.
