About the role#
Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc. is hiring Engineering Sales Interns for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work within our industrial machinery manufacturing operations to balance technical, interpersonal, and business management skills.
What you'll do#
- Use your technical knowledge and sales strategy to drive equipment sales.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities to meet sales goals.
- Propose changes to equipment, processes, or services to help clients reduce capital expenditures and improve operations.
- Educate clients on product specifications, pricing, and our equipment offerings.
What you'll need#
- You are pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Construction Management.
- Prior co-op or internship experience in a related field is preferred.
- Active participation in student organizations or extracurricular activities is preferred.

This role is available on-site in the following cities: Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, and Wilmington, North Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville, South Carolina; and Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Nashville, Tennessee; and Chesapeake, Virginia.
