About the role#
Ingalls Shipbuilding offers summer internships designed to provide students with practical experience in administrative roles. This program is a 10-week commitment starting in mid-May. Interns work a full-time 40-hour work week.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience in administrative human resources positions.
- Participate in a structured 10-week summer program.
- Work a consistent 40-hour schedule.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Human Resources, Business, Finance, Information Technology, or Accounting.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- You must be at least 18 years old by mid-May.
- You must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program for the fall term following the internship.
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check, a physical, and a hair follicle drug screen.
- When applying, you must provide your school name, degree program, major, anticipated graduation date, current academic level, and overall GPA.

- Modality: This position is on-site and not eligible for telework.
