About the role#
This internship provides students the opportunity to gain practical experience in administrative roles at Ingalls Shipbuilding. You will work a 40-hour work week for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer. This position is a paid, full-time opportunity located on-site in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in business-related administrative positions.
- Participate in a structured 40-hour work week schedule.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years of age before the start of the program in mid-May.
- You must be enrolled in a degreed program in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, or Communications.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher is required. You must upload your most recent college transcripts with your application.
- You must be planning to attend a college or university in the fall following the internship.
- You must successfully complete a criminal background investigation, a physical, and a hair follicle drug screen.
- When applying, you must provide your school name, degree program, major, anticipated graduation date, current academic level, and overall GPA.
