About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work within a software engineering team to build and maintain systems. We provide guidance and support, but you will be expected to learn quickly and take on challenging tasks. This role is intended for students entering their senior year or final semester of college.
What you'll do#
- Write code for back-end services and front-end interfaces.
- Develop modern, responsive web user interfaces.
- Integrate various technologies and applications.
- Perform system testing and general application development.
- Work with the team to iterate on projects.
- Integrate AI agents, such as Claude Code or Google Antigravity/Gemini, into your daily coding routine.
What you'll need#
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or a related field, with over 60% of credits completed.
- Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Python, Node, CSS, or modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and RESTful web services.
- Knowledge of databases, SQL, and query processing.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Git, Nexus, or Maven.
- Understanding of the agile software lifecycle and software design standards.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred: Knowledge of AWS or Azure, experience with Linux, or an existing security clearance.

- The position is based in San Antonio, Texas.
- This is a hybrid role requiring an average of 2 days per week at the office.
