About the role#
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work in a small team environment to maintain and update big data systems, automation, and cloud management tools. This is a full-time, paid internship that requires a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and support distributed computing systems and configuration management automation.
- Write scripts using Python and Bash to automate tasks and develop product features.
- Troubleshoot customer-reported application issues and provide technical support.
- Conduct quality assurance testing.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 60% of required credits completed.
- Proficiency in Python software development and Bash scripting.
- Experience with the Linux command line.
- Familiarity with Git, AWS or other cloud platforms, and Kubernetes or other containerization technologies.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tickets, and solve problems by reviewing and compiling data.
- A self-motivated approach to identifying and addressing gaps in capability.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A current Secret level clearance, prior technical internship experience, or a Security+ certification are all considered pluses.

- Location: Grapevine, Texas.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with an average of 1-2 days per week on-site.
