About the role#
This internship provides exposure to clinical operations at Saint Vincent Health Center. You will work under the guidance of senior staff to support daily unit objectives and gain professional experience in a healthcare environment. This is a part-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Provide entry-level support for daily clinical operations.
- Participate in projects and programs to build professional skills.
- Help plan and implement unit initiatives.
- Interact with patients and staff to resolve operational issues.
- Conduct research and prepare reports with recommendations.
- Engage in enrichment programs to learn about healthcare systems.
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently enrolled in a high school located in a county served by Highmark Health or Allegheny Health Network facilities.
