About the role#
The Global Communications (GMC) Intern supports a wide range of initiatives at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. You will work across corporate and financial communications, product and solution storytelling, and digital channel management. This role provides exposure to how a global technology company communicates with internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Support communications initiatives through research, planning, content development, and project management.
- Help translate complex business and technology topics into clear, audience-relevant narratives.
- Contribute to team member communications, editorial calendars, and digital engagement analysis.
- Assist with corporate and financial communications, including message development and stakeholder coordination.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with cross-functional partners to complete assigned projects.
- Suggest improvements to processes and tools to increase efficiency and performance.
- Use social media and communications technology to support content performance analysis and workflow improvement.
- Develop presentations and project deliverables for Global Communications stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related non-technical field.
- Strong written communication, storytelling, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-relevant content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to work within defined timelines.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools.
- Excellent research, editing, and presentation skills.
- A collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
- No prior experience is required.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is hybrid, requiring an average of 2 days per week in the office.
- Locations: San Jose, California, or Houston, Texas.
- Term: Rolling.
