About the role#
We are hiring a laboratory intern for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Longueuil, Quebec, to support our chemical processes and laboratory operations. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Develop a gravimetric analysis method for sulfates.
- Create and implement a hydration percentage test for the sulfuric anodization line.
- Help maintain NADCAP accreditation for our chemical processes.
- Write and optimize work procedures for chemical plating solution maintenance, focusing on safety and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Train staff on updated procedures.
- Build a task schedule and a tracking tool to monitor progress.
- Troubleshoot laboratory issues, such as test failures or the development of new chemical analysis methods.
What you'll need#
- Current university enrollment in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clear communication skills.
