About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at HRG, you will gain hands-on experience supporting real-world projects. This role provides exposure to the engineering field and helps you develop foundational skills for your career. You will work alongside experienced team members on projects involving municipal and water resources, site design, or transportation.
What you'll do#
- Assist with design and development tasks under supervision.
- Gather and organize project data, including code requirements and industry standards.
- Support data collection, field inspections, and the preparation of technical documentation.
- Use standard office and engineering software to support project activities.
- Ensure accuracy and quality in your assigned tasks.
- Suggest ideas to improve project efficiency and organization.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, and project management systems.
- Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary.
- A valid US Driver’s License.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

- Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
