About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at HRG, you will gain hands-on experience supporting real-world projects within a dedicated service group. This role provides exposure to the engineering field and helps you build foundational skills for your future career. You will work alongside experienced team members on projects involving municipal and water resources, site design, or transportation.
What you'll do#
- Assist with design and development tasks under supervision.
- Gather and organize project data, such as code requirements and industry standards.
- Support data collection, field inspections, and the preparation of technical documentation.
- Use standard office and engineering software to complete project activities.
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all assigned tasks.
- Suggest ideas to improve project efficiency and organization.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in engineering or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, and project management systems.
- Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as needed.
- A valid US Driver’s License.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- No prior professional experience is required, though previous internship or coursework is a plus.
