About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience supporting real-world engineering projects. You will work with experienced team members in areas such as municipal and water resources, site design, or transportation. The role is designed to help you develop foundational skills and gain exposure to the engineering field.
What you'll do#
- Assist with basic tasks in the design and development of engineering projects under supervision.
- Gather and organize project data, including code requirements and industry standards.
- Support data collection, field inspections, and the preparation of technical documentation.
- Use standard office and engineering software to support project activities.
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all assigned tasks.
- Suggest ideas to improve project efficiency and organization.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, and project management systems.
- Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices, which may include overnight stays.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
