About the role#
Henkel is looking for a Chemist Intern to join the Adhesive Technologies business unit for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Irvine, California. You will work from May 24th to August 13th.
What you'll do#
- Perform hands-on chemical compounding of electronic materials in a lab setting.
- Test and evaluate the performance and properties of adhesive materials.
- Gain practical experience with organic and polymer chemistry applications.
- Develop and optimize product formulations through laboratory work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, interpret, and summarize data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Location: Irvine, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24th to August 13th).
- Compensation: $22 to $27 per hour.
- Note: This position does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support.
