About the role#
Heidelberg Materials is hiring a Tax Accounting Intern to join our team in Irving, Texas. This is a paid, full-time internship that offers hands-on experience in corporate tax and financial reporting. You will work directly with our tax and finance teams to support our compliance and reporting functions.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation of estimated tax payments and income tax returns.
- Support the development of tax packages for IAS 12 reporting.
- Gather and analyze data in collaboration with finance team members.
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation efforts.
- Participate in Sales and Use and Property Tax projects and compliance activities.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting or Finance with an interest in tax.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
- A willingness to learn and contribute to the finance team.
