About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2026 based in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. You will work on-site, splitting your time between office tasks and field work at a quarry or aggregate site.
What you'll do#
- Apply your classroom knowledge to real-world projects in the field.
- Help plant operations reach production goals while working alongside managers and engineers.
- Complete technical projects to understand how quarry and aggregate sites function.
- Learn the specific missions of the maintenance, quality, and production departments.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, along with company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current sophomore, junior, or senior status in a Mining Engineering or Geology degree program. Students in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or Physics are also eligible.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to the team.
- Ability to adapt to change and remain flexible.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and motivate team members.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Location: Connellsville, PA.
- Work environment: Combination of office and field settings with exposure to various weather conditions.
- Safety: You will be required to use personal protective equipment (PPE).
