About the role#
Heartland ABA is hiring for the Future RBT / Behavior Hero Fellow position in Saint Louis. This role focuses on providing one-on-one ABA services to clients. You will work directly with children with Autism to support their independence and promote positive behavior. This is a part-time position that requires a 6-month commitment.
What you'll do#
- Implement skill-building and care plans as a member of the clinical team.
- Use electronic devices to record session data accurately.
- Create a positive learning environment for clients.
- Communicate and connect with families.
- Use evidence-based interventions during sessions.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- RBT certification is required before you begin working.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
- A willingness to learn and an interest in working with children with Autism.
- Experience in fields like education, childcare, youth mentorship, or healthcare support is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in Saint Louis, Missouri.
- Services occur in client homes or community locations.
- This position is paid and part-time with a rolling start date.
