About the role#
Heartland ABA is looking for individuals to join our team as a Future RBT / Behavior Hero Fellow. This role focuses on providing one-on-one ABA services to clients. You will work as part of a clinical team to implement skill-building and care plans. This is a part-time position that requires a six-month commitment. We offer paid training and opportunities to accumulate restricted and unrestricted hours.
What you'll do#
- Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions.
- Support client independence and positive behavior.
- Implement care plans and specific skill-building activities.
- Record session data using electronic devices.
- Maintain a positive learning environment and communicate with families.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- RBT certification is required before you begin working.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
- A willingness to learn and an interest in supporting children with Autism.
- Experience in fields like education, childcare, youth mentorship, or behavioral health is helpful, but not required.
