About the role#
WMUR, the ABC affiliate in Manchester, is hiring a Creative Services intern for Summer 2026. This team handles the branding and promotional development for the station. You will gain a practical understanding of how a television Creative Services department operates.
What you'll do#
- Draft topical copy for the station, the nightly newsmagazine show Chronicle, and other special news segments.
- Observe newscasts and editing sessions.
- Learn the basics of writing and producing effective topical promotion for WMUR.
- Participate in promotional and commercial shoots, both in-house and on location.
- Assist with PSA production to support the station's commitment to the community.
- Apply your writing and communication skills in a professional media environment.
What you'll need#
- Interest in broadcast and digital marketing.
- Pursuit of a degree in Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
- Ability to work in a professional setting.

- This is a paid, full-time internship based on-site in Manchester, New Hampshire.
