What you'll do#
- Write accurate news stories on local topics.
- Use social media to find story ideas and track audience interests.
- Build stories using SEO best practices, tags, links, and web headlines.
- Include multimedia in your reporting when appropriate.
- Collaborate with editors to develop coverage.
- Assist with video and audio journalism tasks.

- Strong news judgment, speed, and grammatical precision.
- A flair for writing headlines and an energetic, curious approach.
- Proficiency with digital content management and newsroom planning tools.
- Experience using social media for newsgathering.
- Ability to adapt story composition to different platforms.
