About the role#
Haworth is hiring a paid Human Resources Intern for the summer of 2027. This role is based on-site at our corporate headquarters in Holland, Michigan. You will join a cohort of interns for a 12-week program that includes project work, networking events, and professional development workshops. You will also attend NeoCon to observe industry trends.
What you'll do#
- Support the full recruiting lifecycle alongside staffing specialists, recruiters, and HR shared services professionals.
- Conduct pre-screening candidate interviews.
- Assist with various recruiting projects and tasks.
- Represent Haworth at career events.
- Gain experience in general HR customer service.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Human Resources, with junior status or higher by Fall 2027.
- Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
- Unrestricted right to work in the US.
- Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with personal computers, spreadsheet applications, and keyboarding.
- A self-starter attitude with a desire to research and solve problems.
- Preferred qualifications include a GPA of 2.95 or higher, prior HR or Haworth experience, bilingual skills (Spanish/English), familiarity with labor laws, experience with confidential information, Microsoft Office Suite skills, and interest in AI tools.
