About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain professional experience through project-based work at Hawaiian Electric. You will be paired with a mentor to guide your development and help you navigate the company. Interns participate in cross-functional activities to learn about our operations and will present their final project deliverables to the management team at the end of the summer.
What you'll do#
- Research and execute an objective-based project.
- Align SAP payment terms.
- Follow up on certificates of insurance.
- Contact vendors with contracts nearing expiration.
- Manage purchase order closures.
- Participate in cross-functional activities and professional development sessions.
- Present your achievements and lessons learned to management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an active student at a post-secondary institution.
- Academic focus in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 and good academic standing.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Must be attending school in Fall 2027.
- Official digital copy of your transcript.

- Modality: On-site, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
- Status: Full-time, paid position.
