About the role#
This internship is a project-based experience within the Emergency Preparedness and Response Watch Office. You will work alongside a dedicated mentor to research and execute an objective-based project. At the end of the summer, you will present your findings and lessons learned to the management team. You will also participate in cross-functional activities and professional development workshops.
What you'll do#
- Support program communications, reporting, and business analytics.
- Create promotional videos, newsletters, and data-driven reports.
- Build and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights.
- Perform budget analysis to assist with financial planning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop reporting tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an active student at a post-secondary school.
- Good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Enrollment in classes for Fall 2027.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Studies in Business, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Meteorology, or related fields.

- Location: Honolulu, Hawaii.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
- Status: Full-time, paid position.
