About the role#
We are looking for a Nuclear Engineering Intern to join our Energy group. You will work from our Pittsburgh office to support global projects. This role involves solving technical problems related to nuclear energy and power generation systems within a multi-disciplinary team. You will gain practical experience while working alongside senior engineers and designers.
What you'll do#
- Solve technical problems for nuclear energy technologies and power systems.
- Create project deliverables, technical reports, and client presentations.
- Assist with research, development, and detailed design for energy projects.
- Support the preparation of drawings based on specifications and notes.
- Coordinate with technicians and engineers on project tasks.
- Provide support to senior staff as needed.
- Gain on-site practical experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in civil, chemical, mechanical, or nuclear engineering.
- A minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site, including at remote locations.
- Previous co-op or internship experience is preferred.
- Submission of an official or unofficial transcript with your application.

- This position is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- The role is full-time and paid.
- We operate in an on-site, hybrid environment. We value in-person interaction, though some flexibility is provided.
