About the role#
Hatch is hiring a Finance Student to join our Corporate Finance group. You will work from our Mississauga office to gain hands-on experience in corporate finance operations. This role involves exposure to ERP systems and provides opportunities to build your skills in reporting, data analysis, and process improvement.
What you'll do#
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing and portal uploads.
- Support vendor invoice reviews and payment processing.
- Prepare tax-related documentation and assist with compliance activities.
- Contribute to internal controls and process documentation.
- Help with financial reporting, reconciliations, and data clean-up in ERP systems.
- Participate in ad hoc projects related to finance process improvements and reporting initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a 3rd or 4th year student in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance at an accredited university.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- You must submit a transcript, official or unofficial, with your application.
