About the role#
The Hartford Athletic II Team Coordinator Intern supports the day-to-day operations of our professional soccer program. This role provides administrative and logistical assistance to the coaching and technical staff. You will gain experience in team management, league requirements, and overall club operations during the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Manage player registrations, eligibility documentation, and team rosters.
- Track league deadlines, roster changes, and player status updates.
- Serve as an administrative point of contact between the team and league officials.
- Coordinate the distribution, tracking, and inventory of uniforms and training equipment.
- Assist with match-day paperwork, game reports, and roster submissions.
- Support team scheduling, travel logistics, and facility coordination for training sessions.
- Maintain team calendars and communicate logistical updates to players and staff.
- Assist with player onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Help organize team meetings, events, and other operational requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Sport Management, Sports Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Availability throughout the fall semester, including evenings and weekends.
- Reliable transportation to training and match locations in Windsor, Connecticut.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, calendars, and registration platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and handle confidential information professionally.
