About the role#
This is a full-time, 3-month internship with the option to extend for an additional 3 months. As a Cybersecurity Governance Analyst & Enablement Intern, you will join the Information Security team to gain hands-on experience in enterprise security governance practices. You will play a key role in laying the foundation for an eventual ISO 27001 certification.
What you'll do#
- Support foundation-building work for ISO 27001 certification.
- Perform risk assessments and document risk treatments along with follow-up actions.
- Generate governance-related dashboards for executive team leaders.
- Assist with security policy formulation and document management.
- Gather security control evidence and associated records.
- Support the management and setup of the governance SaaS platform.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, IT, or a related field.
- Familiarity with basic security or risk-management concepts through coursework or projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, specifically regarding documentation and evidence tracking.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team.
- Good communication skills, including comfort presenting to groups of stakeholders and following up on requests.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship with an estimated hourly rate between $18 and $20.
