About the role#
This 10-week summer internship offers exposure to the corporate functions that drive property and portfolio performance at Harbor Group Management Company. You will participate in a rotational program covering operations analytics, utilities management, ancillary services, and revenue management. Throughout the program, you will contribute to a capstone project and interact with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Compile and analyze property-level performance data including occupancy, leasing, and revenue.
- Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reporting packages.
- Perform ad hoc analyses to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.
- Review utility billing, expense trends, and budget variances.
- Support energy benchmarking and track water and energy consumption.
- Evaluate ancillary revenue programs and third-party vendor partnerships.
- Monitor revenue management system recommendations and conduct competitive rent analyses.
- Participate in cross-functional reviews and decision-making discussions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising junior or senior in a 4-year degree program for Business, Finance, Real Estate, or Data/Business Analytics.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data and reporting tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- The role is based at the corporate office in Richardson, Texas.
