About the role#
Join the Information Technology organization at Hallmark for a summer internship. You will work with teams across enterprise architecture, software engineering, site reliability, and automation. This program offers hands-on experience with enterprise technology strategy and product delivery. You will contribute to projects that provide business value while working alongside professionals in the field.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop AI-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Build automation tools to remove manual processes and improve productivity.
- Create software applications and user interfaces for business workflows.
- Develop test automation frameworks and performance monitoring dashboards.
- Support cloud, infrastructure, and site reliability initiatives.
- Build integrations between enterprise applications and business systems.
- Modernize legacy applications using current technology platforms.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions to business challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions.
- Support technology portfolio planning, service management, and governance activities.
- Build load test scripts for critical business periods and website functionalities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program for Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- A graduation date between December 2027 and May 2030.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0, which must be included on your resume.
- Foundational knowledge of AI, BPO, BPA, RPA, and enterprise architecture.
- Previous internship experience or exposure to corporate or technological work.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage ambiguity.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and learning skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and ITIL frameworks.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The program lasts 12 weeks, from late May through early August.
- This is a hybrid role based in Kansas City, Missouri.
