About the role#
Hallmark offers summer internships for students to apply classroom knowledge to projects in a corporate environment. You will work with senior leaders, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in learning and networking opportunities. These roles are full-time and paid.
What you'll do#
- Leverage data, consumer insights, and business analysis to improve marketing, loyalty, and consumer engagement initiatives.
- Analyze performance data, identify trends, conduct research, and develop dashboards to share with business leaders.
- Translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve the end-to-end returns experience by mapping consumer journeys and interviewing stakeholders.
- Support strategic marketing initiatives, evaluate promotional strategies across retail and digital channels, and conduct competitive benchmarking.
- Perform in-store and digital market research, category analysis, and product evaluation.
- Audit social media channels and develop recommendations for optimization.
What you'll need#
- A graduation date between December 2027 and May 2030.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Communications, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools to organize and interpret information.
- Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and thinking critically to solve complex challenges.
- Eagerness to learn, seek feedback, and contribute to an inclusive culture.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position based in Kansas City, Missouri.
- The internship lasts 12 weeks, running from late May through early August 2027.
- Relocation is required for this role, with some assistance provided for those living outside the Kansas City metro area.
