About the role#
As a Social Media Intern, you will support our day-to-day content creation, community engagement, and campaign execution. You will work with the marketing team to bring our brand voice to life across platforms like Instagram and TikTok. This role offers hands-on experience in content planning, social storytelling, and trendspotting.
What you'll do#
- Pitch, film, and edit social content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and paid ads.
- Promote brand initiatives and campaigns through on-brand content.
- Monitor and engage with our community in a timely, thoughtful way.
- Pitch social trends and track influencer content for weekly ideation.
- Support content shoots and help organize visual assets.
- Track performance metrics and contribute to post-campaign reports.
- Assist with influencer marketing by researching creators, building outreach lists, and coordinating product seeding.
What you'll need#
- Strong written and visual communication skills.
- Deep familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Proficiency in content creation and video editing.
- Comfort on camera with strong storytelling skills.
- Ability to use tools like Capcut, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Interest in K-beauty, skincare, or lifestyle brands.
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in our Dumbo, Brooklyn office.
- You must be able to work on-site a few days per week.
- The position is part-time at 20 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship at $17 per hour.
- The program duration is 12 weeks.
