About the role#
As a Digital Media and Marketing Intern, you will work under the direction of the Marketing Manager to assist with general marketing functions. This role provides hands-on experience within an agricultural cooperative environment.
What you'll do#
- Conduct marketing research and analysis.
- Develop, plan, and administer marketing strategies and projects while working with customers, vendors, and industry contacts.
- Customize and produce advertising and sales support materials, such as direct mailers, literature, presentations, and program introductions.
- Develop and maintain marketing collaterals and websites.
- Follow company policies regarding the Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT procedures.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in marketing, agriculture, or a related field at a 4-year university.
- Status as at least a second semester junior or first semester senior in good academic standing.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate skills in business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, and decision making.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel independently, including overnight trips as needed.
- Willingness to participate in required training sessions.
