About the role#
Group One Trading is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Manager Intern to support daily operations in our New York office. This is a hands-on, in-office role that focuses on maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and efficient workplace. You will serve as a dependable point of support for the team while managing logistics and routine operational tasks.
What you'll do#
- Provide daily updates and check-ins with New York leadership regarding office operations and priorities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked office environment.
- Manage visitor logistics, including guest lists, conference room scheduling, and access badges.
- Coordinate catering and act as the point of contact for office events and meetings.
- Oversee weekly office inventory tracking for supplies, snacks, and equipment.
- Serve as the primary contact for building-related requests and property management.
- Handle daily administrative tasks such as mail, packages, and onboarding logistics.
- Support the HR and Recruitment teams.
- Track and submit office-related expenses and receipts to the Finance Department on a weekly basis.
- Monitor internal systems.
What you'll need#
- Experience in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Comfort learning and using internal systems.
- A proactive approach to handling routine operational tasks.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, NY.
- Work modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
- Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Term: Rolling, with a 1-year commitment requested.
- Compensation: Paid position at $30 per hour.
- Sponsorship: Available for qualified international candidates.
