About the role#
This internship offers an immersion into the multifamily construction industry. You will work on multimillion-dollar projects and gain hands-on experience as part of our in-house general contractor team. This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2027 based on-site in Solana Beach, California.
What you'll do#
- Assist the project team with site management, subcontractor coordination, and inspections of completed work.
- Manage project controls, including document management, submittals, requests for information, change management, and quality control.
- Attend and participate in project planning meetings and reviews.
- Support the preconstruction team by performing quantity take offs, preparing estimates, developing bid packages, and soliciting bids.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to track and manage multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines.
- A sharp focus on quality and attention to detail.
