About the role#
The Sales Intern will support our team in generating new business, maintaining customer relationships, and meeting company goals. This role involves a mix of field work and office time. You will spend four days each week in the field across the GTA and surrounding areas and one day in our office. Please note that weekend availability may be required.
What you'll do#
- Assist with lead generation and qualify potential customers using our CRM.
- Follow up with leads and coordinate meetings or calls.
- Accompany the Sales team on customer visits and support sales presentations.
- Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and other sales materials.
- Conduct product demonstrations and sampling to introduce items to customers.
- Support in-store merchandising and marketing activations at on-premise locations.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and track market trends.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to help refine our sales strategies.
What you'll need#
- Enrolment in an undergraduate program focused on Marketing, Business, or Economics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A valid G driver's licence and access to your own vehicle are required.
