About the role#
We are looking for engineering students to join our Sales and Field Applications team. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry, working directly with our MPSNow Sales Team. You will learn about our business, products, and technology while receiving guidance from experienced sales and engineering staff. You will also have the opportunity to present your findings to company leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support the MPSNow Sales Team to drive design-in activity and win new business.
- Track and measure design and revenue metrics at target customer accounts.
- Collaborate with product division marketing and engineering teams to identify target applications and increase design wins.
- Find new customer targets to expand our customer base.
- Research and vet new customer set-ups within our CRM system.
- Assign incoming inquiries from the web, distributors, and representatives to the correct team members.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Graduation date within 12 months of completing the internship.
- Strong presentation skills for both internal executives and customers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Zoom.
- Ability to work independently as a contributor in a field office.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, collaboration, and problem-solving.
