About the role#
The Green Bay Packers are hiring a Community Outreach Intern for a one-year term beginning in January 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Green Bay. You will support the department by managing donation requests, coordinating community programs, and assisting with football outreach events at Lambeau Field. The role requires a 40-hour work week, with additional availability needed for nights, weekends, and holidays, including all home games and training camp events.
What you'll do#
- Manage donation correspondence and educate requestors on the online submission process.
- Process school projects, Eagle Scout recognitions, military retirement requests, and other benefits using the BlackBaud Grantmaking System.
- Update donation records and maintain the database.
- Fulfill donation requests at the distribution center by picking, packing, and shipping items via the UPS World Ship System.
- Coordinate community mailings and assist in the creation of outreach publications.
- Help plan and execute community events and programs.
- Support social media efforts and capture photos during events and game days.
- Assist the Community Outreach Manager with research and various team projects.
What you'll need#
- An Associate or Bachelor degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Zoom.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build professional relationships.
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Capacity to lift and carry at least 40 pounds and perform physical tasks like reaching and stooping.
- A flexible schedule to accommodate the demands of the football season.
