About the role#
Great Northern is hiring a Human Resources Intern for the Winter 2027 term. You will support our recruiting and administrative operations while working directly with our human resources team. This position is based on-site at our Appleton facility.
What you'll do#
- Review applications and conduct initial interviews.
- Coordinate second round interviews.
- Assist with new hire onboarding processes.
- Help the human resources team with ongoing projects.
- Organize and file interview notes and documentation.
- Attend job fairs to represent the company.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's or associate's degree in human resources or a business-related field.
- You can work on-site at our Appleton location.
- You are available to work at least 15 hours per week, ideally spread across 3 days.
- You possess a team-first mindset and take ownership of your responsibilities.
Location & details#
- Location: Appleton, Wisconsin.
- Term: January 4, 2027, to April 30, 2027.
- Schedule: Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. We offer flexibility to accommodate your class schedule.
- This is a paid internship.
