About the role#
This position is with the Operational and Service Excellence (O&SE) team within Government Services. You will work on identifying business pain points and implementing process improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Halifax.
What you'll do#
- Manage, develop, and improve the O&SE SharePoint site.
- Assist in the development, rollout, and evaluation of O&SE programs and services.
- Coordinate the implementation of various programs and services.
- Guide business areas and colleagues through O&SE offerings.
- Facilitate training sessions and simulations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate on high-stake projects and create visual promotional materials.
- Use Microsoft Excel and Power BI to present data through dashboards.
- Explore Microsoft 365, Power Automate, and Adobe Creative Suite to support operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a postgraduate program related to business, management, or technical fields.
- Experience in administering, promoting, and interpreting programs or services.
- Strong verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and coordinate tasks.
- Experience building and sustaining professional relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing needs.
- Assets include exposure to Lean Six Sigma, SharePoint, Power Automate, Adobe Creative Suite, Power BI, and AI tools.
