About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship program for Summer 2027 based in Wyoming, Michigan. You will work on-site with our sustainability team to support stewardship initiatives and environmental impact projects. This role involves direct collaboration with a team that uses AI as a core tool to drive business results.
What you'll do#
- Support key stewardship focus areas, including environmental impact reduction and food waste minimization.
- Work on food donation initiatives and landfill diversion strategies.
- Collect, aggregate, and analyze data related to energy usage, waste metrics, and food donation summaries.
- Drive internal awareness and team engagement regarding sustainability efforts.
- Participate in the company mentorship program and attend networking events.
- Shadow roles across the organization to explore career paths.
- Develop professional skills through workshops and community involvement.
- Use and develop intelligent systems to create real-world business impact.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Sustainable Food Systems, Sustainable Supply Chain, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
