About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship based at our Atlanta Tech Hub. You will join the Cloud DevOps department to work on projects that support our customers, employees, and partners. The program includes mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities to help you explore different career paths across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Write and maintain scripts in Python or Bash to automate routine tasks like deployments and server provisioning.
- Assist in managing cloud infrastructure on GCP, including work with Kubernetes, virtual machines, and Docker containers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, build new stages, and integrate security scanning tools.
- Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems to track application and infrastructure performance.
- Resolve identified technical issues and create documentation for team processes and tools.
- Use and develop intelligent systems to deliver business impact.
- Participate in workshops, job shadowing, and community stewardship efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Computer Science or an Engineering degree with Computer Specializations.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
