About the role#
GlobalFoundries is seeking an Investor Relations Intern to join our team in Austin, Texas, for the Summer 2027 term. This project-based role focuses on market intelligence, financial analysis, and shareholder research. You will help evaluate AI-enabled tools to improve our communication processes and support strategic planning. At the end of your internship, you will deliver a formal presentation to Finance leadership.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Investor Relations and Finance teams on specific projects.
- Provide regular progress updates to your manager.
- Research market trends, investor targets, and shareholder activity.
- Support financial analysis, Excel modeling, and reporting.
- Develop presentations for investor communications.
- Follow all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements.
- Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a sophomore in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program for Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA and good academic standing.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Prior internship or co-op experience is preferred.
- Leadership experience, project management skills, and strong organizational abilities are preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel modeling, research, and presentation development is preferred.
- An interest in financial markets, shareholder analytics, or AI-enabled business processes is preferred.
