About the role#
As a Corporate Operational Excellence intern, you will work on projects that support our mission to develop cancer therapies. You will gain experience in a biotechnology environment while participating in professional development, leadership presentations, and networking events. This is a full-time, paid internship lasting 10 to 12 weeks between May and August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Map the end-to-end cell therapy value chain, including identifying key activities, dependencies, and potential constraints.
- Analyze how internal capacity and external spend are deployed across the cell therapy lifecycle using operational and financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to validate process maps and identify opportunities to simplify work or address resource gaps.
- Evaluate where AI and automation can be applied to high-value activities, considering business impact and feasibility.
- Create a prioritized set of recommendations for resource redirection or AI deployment.
- Translate your findings into an executive-ready roadmap and deliver a final presentation.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program in fields such as computer science, data science, business, finance, operations, public health, or biomedical sciences.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 10 to 12-week schedule from May through August and maintain full-time student status in the following Fall semester.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and communicate complex findings clearly.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
