About the role#
As an intern in the CFO Finance FP&A department, you will work on projects that support the mission of Gilead Sciences. This role provides exposure to senior leaders and cross-functional teams. You will have the opportunity to be evaluated for a full-time offer in the CFO Leadership Development Program upon completion of your internship.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to high-impact projects.
- Gain cross-functional experience and exposure to senior leadership.
- Participate in professional development, leadership presentations, networking events, and community volunteer programs.
- Present your work at the conclusion of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a Bachelor, Master, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. college or university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- A demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Minimum age of 18 at the start of the internship.

- Location: Foster City, California.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Duration: 10 to 12 weeks, full-time.
- Compensation: Paid internship with eligibility for housing stipends and company holidays.
