About the role#
GHJ Search and Staffing is hiring an Advisory Intern for our Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) team in Los Angeles. This is a full-time, paid internship running from June 14, 2027, through August 13, 2027. You will work on-site and gain professional experience by contributing to real client engagements and projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform research and analysis for advisory projects.
- Draft journal entries, enter transactions, and reconcile accounts.
- Assist with month-end close processes and reviews.
- Identify problems, gather insights, and propose solutions for client engagements.
- Create deliverables for advisory clients.
- Participate in training exercises and team discussions to build technical competency.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting or a related field, with a graduation date between May 2028 and August 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Creative problem-solving and research capabilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel to client locations with colleagues, including potential overnight stays.

- Pay: $33 per hour.
