About the role#
Geotab is seeking a Software Developer Intern for an 8-month term beginning in January 2027. You will support our internal development teams by building and improving the platforms, tools, and foundational systems that power our operations. This is a full-time, paid position where you will gain hands-on experience in software architecture and technical evolution.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the architectural and technical advancement of internal platforms and services.
- Build and improve internal tools and automation to streamline developer workflows.
- Participate in the technical evolution of foundational systems.
- Perform testing and quality assurance to ensure system reliability and stability.
- Collaborate closely with members of the development and product design teams.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Knowledge of backend systems, specifically C# .NET Core or .NET 7+.
- Understanding of version control principles.
- Foundational knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
- Strong analytical and time management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January start).
