About the role#
We are looking for Software Developer Interns to join our team for a 4 to 8 month term starting in January 2027. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and deployment of MyGeotab. This is a full-time, paid position where you will work alongside our Cloud Automation and Site Reliability teams to build resilient cloud systems.
What you'll do#
- Deliver features to production that impact our customers.
- Build and maintain resilient cloud systems.
- Learn how our systems are scaled and deployed in the cloud.
- Participate in code reviews with the team.
- Adopt best practices in source control, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with application development in a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with object-oriented design, unit testing, optimization, and multithreaded programming. Proficiency in C# and .Net is preferred.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools in your workflow.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Location & details#
- Locations: Oakville, Toronto, or Waterloo, Ontario.
- Modality: Hybrid. You are welcome to work from our offices or remotely. If working from home, you must have a reliable internet connection with at least 50mb download and 10mb upload speeds.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4-8 months).
- Employment: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
