About the role#
Generac is hiring an HR Intern to support our team in Whitewater. This role provides an opportunity to observe and participate in daily human resources activities. You will gain exposure to HR systems, policies, and processes throughout the talent life cycle. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Support HR programs and policies across the talent life cycle.
- Manage data entry, validation, and reporting using Excel or HRIS systems.
- Prepare materials for employee and management meetings and events.
- Provide backup support for talent acquisition and total rewards tasks, such as new hire orientations and interview coordination.
- Handle administrative duties, including confidential filing and general operational support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's program for Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Sophomore status or higher.
- Strong aptitude in Microsoft Excel.
- Prior experience with HRIS platforms.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Clear written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
