About the role#
The Analyst Internship Program within the Finance and Operations track offers an opportunity to gain exposure to various disciplines across our CFO organization. This paid summer internship is designed to help you build business acumen and prepare for potential entry into our full-time analyst development program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Work on significant analyst projects and present your findings to senior management.
- Engage directly with Finance and Operations groups to learn our systems and data integration points.
- Develop your analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze results and recommend investment decisions.
- Participate in professional development sessions, social events, and formal mentoring from our management team.
- Contribute to GEICO’s financial and strategic performance.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, or a related analytical or FinTech field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Demonstrated interest in the Finance field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI or similar tools.
- Technical aptitude and a desire to learn financial systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate within a team.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
- You must live within a commutable distance of our Bethesda, MD, New York City, NY, or Chicago, IL offices.
