About the role#
As a design intern for electrical auxiliary systems, you will join the team responsible for hydroelectric turbines and generators. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support design projects and development activities. This role involves participating in multidisciplinary teams to help the organization meet its annual objectives.
What you'll do#
- Design electrical auxiliary systems for hydroelectric projects.
- Support various GE departments with technical tasks.
- Create wiring diagrams.
- Select instrumentation for machine monitoring and protection.
- Design cabinets and junction boxes.
- Complete all tasks under the supervision of senior engineers.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of an Electrical Engineering degree.
- One or two previous professional experiences.
- Proficiency in basic electrical calculations and instrumentation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
