About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within a manufacturing environment at our Greenville gas turbine site. You will gain experience in supply chain and production while contributing to the development of technology that supports global energy needs. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate manufacturing processes to identify and implement production improvements.
- Drive initiatives that support customer satisfaction, quality, and material productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the quality of specific production areas.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize production workflows.
- Maintain technical knowledge of safety standards, codes, and procedures for production equipment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate engineering program, specifically Industrial, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Analytical approach to problem solving and a high degree of curiosity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a collaborative team mindset.

- Location: Greenville, South Carolina.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
